2 Weeks 2 Go!

Only two more weeks (we hope) to go! The nursery is all set up, the car seat base is secured in the car, the belly button has popped and the baby has dropped. I think we’re almost ready – or as ready as you can be!

My doctor said she doesn’t think Baby K will go past her due date. Hoorah! (We’re already getting confirmation that she’s advanced for her age.) :) But of course you never know... she may have her own idea about her ETA.

After much deliberation, we’ve decided to deliver at the UCSD Birth Center. I figure it’s the best of both worlds… a “home-like”, "family-centered", less medicalized environment ... with doctors (and drugs) two floors away, just in case you need them.
