Kleinville -- Population: 4 humans, 1 canine

I had heard the transition to two kids was potentially going to be a rough one. But the first week home was a tad more eventful than anticipated. I had to have a root canal, Ella and Jason had bad colds and Katy-dog had kidney failure. Luckily, everyone is back to feeling 100% ... minus some sleep. Luckily my mom was there to save the day -- by chauffeuring our dog to the vet, to the overnight emergency animal hospital, back to the vet, rocking baby Sarah at 3am and going to the grocery store. Thanks, Mom!

We’ve been on our own since Wednesday. And everyone is alive and well. :) We just have to stay that way until Thursday, when both sides of the family come back into town to help celebrate Ella’s third birthday.
