9 Months

Dear Sarah,

Happy ¾ Birthday! It’s crazy to think that you’ve been “out” now as long as you were "in". :) Time flies when you’re busy taking care of the two cutest, sweetest girls in all the land.

You started clapping this month, and not surprisingly, your first recipients of the happy-clap were your four-legged friends. We visited Grammy and Papa over Memorial Day weekend and you loved watching Katy and Pete play and would clap whenever they came near.

Other accomplishments this month include signing “All done” (by flapping your arms up and down) and eating Cheerios and puffs. Yay for the pincer grip!

I’ve come into your room in the morning several times now to be surprised to see you on your tummy. So now you can officially roll both ways. The only other moving you do continues to be scooting backward and invariably getting stuck under the furniture. Although I’m not in any hurry for you to crawl – we still have some serious babyproofing to do!

Uncle Ian and Aunt Maya are here visiting from Vietnam for the summer, so you got to meet Scary Uncle Ian and see Crazy Aunt Maya again. It’s fun to show you off. And it’s nice that you don’t think they’re too scary (or crazy).

Much love,
Mama
