Half a Year Already?!

Dear Sarah,

Today you turned six months old. It’s been a big month for you. Lots of firsts – and notably more significant ones than last month.

You had your first taste of “solid” food and you LOVED it. No surprise there, as you’d been reaching for the spoon and even swiping brie off crackers for a few weeks now. You took to rice cereal right away and within five days were eating like a champ and screaming for more! We’ve since moved on to avocado and sweet peas – both a hit.



You now sit up by yourself pretty well – but still need a ring of pillows for the inevitable fall. And you even roll from your belly to your back. No more unwanted tummy time for you.

Others firsts this month include:

- First train ride
- First ice capades – Disney on Ice
- First visit to the snow
- First ride in a shopping cart
- First swing



You continue to be the happiest baby on the block. Always smiling and laughing. And not missing a thing. You love reaching for all your big sister’s toys. So far, the Little People school bus is your favorite. Coincidently, your favorite song is the wheels on the bus.
